Managing Estimate Builder Columns

You can configure which columns are visible in the Estimate Builder grid, and their display order, from the Services Estimator Administration page.

To manage Estimate Builder columns:

1. In the App Launcher, click Services Estimator Administration.
2. In the Estimate Settings section, click Manage Estimate Builder Columns.

3. In the Manage Estimate Builder Columns window, configure your column layout using any of the following methods. To find a specific field in the Available Fields section, use the filter drop-down to filter by object type, or enter a name in the search field.

   • Drag: Drag a field from one section to another. You can drag from Available Fields to Left Side or Right Side to make a column visible, from Left Side or Right Side to Available Fields to hide a column, or between Left Side and Right Side to change which grid region a column appears in. You can also drag within a section to reorder columns.
   • Drop-down menu: Click on a field. On an Available Fields field, select Add to Left Side or Add to Right Side. On a Visible Columns field, select Remove to move the field back to Available Fields.
   • Arrow buttons: Click a field in the Left Side or Right Side section to highlight it, then use the arrow buttons. The and arrows beside each section reorder the selected field within its section. The and arrows between the two sections move the selected field to the other section. Arrow buttons are inactive until you select a field.
4. Click Save.

Note:

The Name column always appears first in the Estimate Builder. Start Date, End Date, and Hours must remain visible. You can move them between Left Side and Right Side, but not to Available Fields. For more information, see Manage Estimate Builder Columns Overview.
