Preparing to Upgrade

This section lists things to consider before upgrading to Business Analytics Summer 2023.

Dependencies on Other Certinia Packages

You must install the following packages before upgrading to Business Analytics Summer 2023:

You must install the Foundations Summer 2023 Service Pack 1 before you can upgrade the Business Analytics package to Summer 2023.

In addition, the following packages are required before you can upgrade an Analytics app based on a Business Analytics template.

Engagement Analytics

Revenue Management	Spring 2022	Only required if you want to include revenue recognized and cost amortized amounts, and to create the Deferred Revenue Reporting dashboard.
Order and Inventory Management	Fall 2021	Only required if you use Order and Inventory Management with the strategic spend functionality.
