Setting up Aged Analysis Dashboards

  • Aging Start Date. Select whether to age transaction line items by due date or transaction date.
  • GLAs. Select the GLAs to include in your aged analysis report.
  • Line Types. Select the line types to include in your aged analysis report. Available options are "Account" and "All". If you select "All", then the following line types are included in your dashboard: Account, analysis and tax. Any transactions with the line type analysis or tax are not associated with an account, and are listed as "Unknown" under the "Account" column in the dashboard summary table.
  • Note: If you are configuring Aged Analysis by Date, the default line type selected is "Account". If you are configuring Aged Analysis by Period, the default line type selected is "All".

  • Aging Ranges. Specify the duration in days for your aging ranges.

To perform these steps, ensure that you:

  • Have the Einstein Analytics Platform Admin permission set (if not, you can only make local settings changes for your current session).
  • Are using the Analytics Studio app (not the Analytics app). This is required to make changes that apply to all users.

To set up your dashboard:

  1. Open the Aged Analysis by Date or Aged Analysis by Period dashboard.
  2. Click .
  3. Click Edit to enter edit mode.
  4. Click More, then select Pick Initial Values.
  5. Configure the options described above.
  6. Click Done to save your dashboard.
  7. Click .
  8. ClickPreviewto enter preview mode and view your changes.
  9. Click to return to your dashboard.
