Getting Started with PSA Mobile Timecards

Warning:

Mobile Timecards have been deprecated in the Spring 2022 release of PSA. If you have upgraded to this release, this functionality will no longer be available in the application. You can still enter time on mobile using the Time Entry Lightning component, provided it has been added to your page layout by your administrator. For more information, see Using the Time Entry Component.

To use PSA Mobile Time you need:

  • Access to a Salesforce organization with PSA version 11.0 or later and the PSA Mobile Timecards Extension package installed, licensed, and configured.
  • Each PSA user must have the IsResource and IsResourceActive checkboxes selected on their Contact record. See the Resource Fields topic in the PSA Help for more information.
  • Ensure that the Session Timeout on your Salesforce organization is set to an appropriate value. See the "Setting Session Security" topic in the Salesforce Help for further information.
Note:

We recommend that you wait until you have successfully entered timecards using the standard web interface before you use PSA Mobile Timecards.

The fields displayed in PSA Mobile Timecards depend on the configuration options your Administrator has chosen in PSA
