Expected Records Not Included - Secondary Checklist

When you generate data for recognition or forecasting, if source records that you were expecting to be in the results are missing, first work through the checklist in Expected Records Not Included - Primary Checklist. If the issue is still not resolved after working through that checklist, work through the checklist below:

  • Check the filters you are using to make sure the source record matches any filters you have selected.
  • Check the currency selected matches the source record's currency.
  • Check the recognition template and settings record used by the source record:
    1. Go to the Revenue Management Settings custom setting (Setup | Develop | Custom Settings) and check which field is being used for the Actuals Recognition Template or Forecast Recognition Template.
    2. Go to the source record you are expecting to be included and check that the Actuals Recognition Template field or Forecast Recognition Template field (as defined in the custom setting above) is populated with a template.
    3. Go to the settings record that is linked to this template and check this setting is for the same object type as the source record.
    4. Check whether the settings record linked to this template has the Use in Revenue Contracts box ticked. If it does, you must select the Create Data for Parallel Reporting? checkbox on the Select Filters panel to allow this record to be included in the recognition process.
    5. With the settings record open on the detail page, click Edit and Save without making any changes. This validates that all the fields on the settings record are correct.
