Expected Records Not Included - Primary Checklist

When you generate data for the recognition process, if source records that you were expecting to be in the results are missing it is probably because they do not meet the criteria for inclusion in the process. Work through the following checklist to resolve why source records may be missing:

  • The source record must be active as defined on its associated recognition settings record.
  • The source record's Recognition Complete field must not be ticked.
  • The source record's start date must be before the date being used for revenue recognition.
  • If the source record's recognition template type is equal split, the start date must be before the end date.
  • If the source record's recognition template type is Deliverable, the value in the completed field must result in the record being included in revenue recognition, as defined on the source record's associated settings record.
  • If the source record's recognition template type is % complete, the % complete field must have a value greater than zero.

If source records are missing when you generate data for the forecasting process, work through this checklist to try to resolve the issue:

  • The source record must be active as defined on its associated recognition settings record.
  • The start date and end date must both be populated, and the start date must be before the end date.

After working through these checklists, if the source records are still missing when you generate data, ask your administrator to work through the checklist in Expected Records Not Included - Secondary Checklist to check the way Revenue Management is configured.
