OPM records not being Created or Updated

Warning:

From Spring 2021 you can use Salesforce's Opportunity Product directly as a source object without needing to use Revenue Management's Opportunity Product Mirror. The Opportunity Product Mirror object will be deprecated in a future release, therefore do not configure new installations of Revenue Management to use it. If you are already using the Opportunity Product Mirror, you can continue to use it. Certinia will be in touch before the feature is deprecated to advise on migration.

If you are creating or updating Opportunity Products but no Opportunity Product Mirror (OPM) records are being created this is usually because of configuration issues.

Read the Help topic What is the Opportunity Product Mirror Object? and make sure you have performed all the setup required to use this feature.

If the issue persists, work through this checklist:

  • Open the recognition settings records for both the Opportunity and the OPM.
  • Check that fields on the OPM recognition setting exist on the Opportunity Product.
  • Check you don't have the same field on the Opportunity Product both with and without the ffrr namespace.
  • Edit an Opportunity Product that has an OPM recognition template and see if the mirror record is created. If not, check that the Opportunity Product record is active as defined on its associated OPM recognition settings record.
