When creating a formula, you can reference data from another plan or scenario. This is useful if you need to reference numeric or formula-based data held in another plan or scenario.
A direct cyclical error occurs when one plan references another in its formula, and that plan references back to the original plan. An indirect cyclical error occurs in the same way, but with multiple plans. Plans with direct and indirect cyclical errors cannot be saved.
