Scheduling Automation Configurations

If you are using Revenue Management with recognition schedules, you can schedule automation configurations to run at regular intervals. For information about creating automation configurations, see Using the Revenue Management Automation.

To schedule an automation configuration:

  1. Go to the RM Automation Configurations tab.
  2. Select a list view, then click on an automation configuration to open its detail page.
  3. Click Schedule Configuration.
  4. Select a schedule type:
    • Calendar - Define a schedule to be run relative to calendar days, weeks, or months.
    • Recognition Period - Define a schedule to be run relative to the end date of recognition periods.
  5. Select your preferred dates and times to determine the cadence that the schedule runs. For more information, see Schedule Automation Fields.
  6. Enter a name for the schedule.
  7. [Optional] Select Active to make the schedule available for running. An automation configuration can have more than one active schedule.
  8. Click Schedule to save the schedule. The schedule details are saved as a process schedule record.

Process schedules only run when the Execute RM Process Schedules job runs. For information about setting up this scheduled job, see Configuring a Job to Run Process Schedules.
