Creating a Scoping Requirement Response

Scoping requirement responses define appropriate answers estimators can select during a scoping session.

To create a scoping requirement response:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the Scoping Requirement Responses tab, click New.
    • On a scoping requirement record, on the Scoping Requirement Responses related list, click New.
  2. Check or update the requirement that the response belongs to.
  3. Enter the body of the requirement response. This is what will be displayed in a scoping session.
  4. [Optional] Enter a number to determine the order that the requirement response is displayed within the requirement in a scoping session. For example, 1 for first.
  5. Select Default Response if you want the response to be selected by default in a scoping session.
  6. Click Save to save the requirement response or Save & New to save the requirement response and create a new one.
