Send Metric Account Values To Analytics

Customer Success Cloud enables you to send customer success metric account values to CS Cloud Core Analytics to update the Metric Account Value dataset with the data in your customer success metric account values. This can be useful if you want to:

  • Build dashboards and lenses in Analytics from the data in your customer success metric account values.
  • Retain historical data for your metric values, while reducing the amount of storage required. This provides granular historic detail for the account health score, and the trending of the scores, while reducing the amount of storage required.
  • Archive customer success metric account values that are no longer required. You can store your metric account value data in Customer Success Analytics and then delete them from Customer Success Cloud.

Once you have created the Metric Account Values dataset, you can schedule the MAVDatasetUpdationScheduled apex class to regularly update the data in the dataset.This must be scheduled to run prior to running the Metrics recipe, and at the same cadence. Note:

Once you have sent metric account values to the Metric Account Values dataset, you cannot delete them from the dataset. You can update the value on the metric account value record to overwrite the current value.
