Work Opportunities Hub Overview
The Work Opportunities Hub feature enables:
- Resource managers to mark resource requests that are suitable for self-nomination and enter details and a closing date on the resource request record. For more information, see Managing Self-Nominations for Work Opportunities.
- Resources to express interest in being assigned to upcoming resource requests using the PSA Resource Self-Nomination Lightning component. For more information, see Expressing Interest in Upcoming Work Opportunities.
- Resource managers to see which resources have expressed interest in a resource request by viewing the Candidate Type column on the Resource List tab of the PSA Resource Request Lightning page or the Resource column on the Resource Schedule tab. For more information, see Resourcing Lightning Component Overview and Resource Schedule Overview.
- Resource managers to see which candidates have removed their interest in a resource request they were previously interested in. For more information, see Resourcing Lightning Component Overview and Resource Schedule Overview.
To use this feature:
- An administrator must complete the configuration detailed in Setting up the Work Opportunities Hub.
- Resource managers must select the Allow Candidates to Self-Nominate checkbox on each of the resource requests they want to make available for self-nomination and specify a deadline for self-nomination.
This enables resources to:
- View, filter, and sort a list of upcoming work in the PSA Resource Self-Nomination Lightning component, which has the heading Work Opportunities Coming Soon.
- Express or remove their interest in resource requests.
