Revenue Forecast Fields

The Revenue Forecast object includes the following fields.

Revenue Forecast Fields
Field Description
Account A lookup to the account the revenue forecast relates to.
Actuals Contains the combined value of the Revenue Recognized to Date and the Revenue Pending Recognition fields.
Actual Hours The number of actual hours included in the % Complete revenue forecast calculation for this month.
Actual Weighted Effort

The weighted effort associated with actual hours for the relevant monthly time period. This field contains the value returned after weighting has been applied to the value in the Actual Hours field. The unit of measurement used for the value in this field depends on the field you are using to base your weighting on. For example, if you have specified pse__Cost_Rate_Amount__c in the Assignment % Complete Weighting Field on the active revenue forecast setup record, this field will contain a weighted monetary value, such as a dollar value.

Note:

This field is only relevant if you are using the Weighting feature for % Complete monthly revenue forecast calculations. For more information on setting up the Weighting feature, see Applying Weighting (% Complete).

Corp: Actuals Contains the combined value of the Corp: Revenue Recognized to Date and the Corp: Revenue Pending Recognition fields.
Corp: Currency The corporate currency of the org at the time the revenue forecast was run.
Corp: Pending Revenue Before Carryover In the corporate currency, the value displayed in the Corp: Revenue Pending Recognition field minus the value displayed in the Corp: Pending Revenue Carried Over field. This value represents the amount of pending revenue that was in the corresponding time period before any pending revenue was carried over from a previous closed time period.
Corp: Pending Revenue Carried Over

In the corporate currency, the unfulfilled pending revenue that was ready for recognition and was carried over when the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

Revenue that was not recognized in a closed time period is added to this field in the next open time period in either of the following circumstances:

  • If you are using the integration between PSA and Revenue Management
  • If Retain Pending Revenue in Closed Periods is selected on the active revenue forecast setup record
Corp: Revenue Pending Recognition In the corporate currency, the revenue that is ready for recognition on the revenue forecast.
Corp: Revenue Recognized To Date In the corporate currency, the revenue that has already been recognized within the relevant time period.
Corp: Scheduled Revenue In the corporate currency, the revenue that is scheduled for recognition on the revenue forecast.
Corp: Unfulfilled Pending Revenue

In the corporate currency, the revenue that was ready for recognition but was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

Revenue that was not recognized in a closed time period is carried over into the next open time period in either of the following circumstances:

  • If you are using the integration between PSA and Revenue Management
  • If Retain Pending Revenue in Closed Periods is selected on the active revenue forecast setup record

The amount carried over is displayed in the following fields:

  • Corp: Unfulfilled Pending Revenue on the relevant revenue forecast record that looks up to the original time period
  • Corp: Pending Revenue Carried Over on the relevant revenue forecast record that looks up to the first open time period
Corp: Unfulfilled Scheduled Revenue

In the corporate currency, the scheduled revenue that was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

0 is displayed in the Corp: Scheduled Revenue field if a forecast calculation attributes scheduled revenue to a particular forecast but the associated time period is closed for forecasting. The amount that would have been displayed in the Corp: Scheduled Revenue field is displayed in the Corp: Unfulfilled Scheduled Revenue field instead, to show what the value would have been if the time period were still open.

Corp: Unfulfilled Unscheduled Revenue

In the corporate currency, the unscheduled revenue that was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

0 is displayed in the Corp: Unscheduled Revenue field if a forecast calculation attributes unscheduled revenue to a particular forecast but the associated time period is closed for forecasting. The amount that would have been displayed in the Corp: Unscheduled Revenue field is displayed in the Corp: Unfulfilled Unscheduled Revenue field instead, to show what the value would have been if the time period were still open.

Corp: Unscheduled Revenue In the corporate currency, the revenue that is currently unscheduled. For projects, if there are unscheduled hours on a milestone or project and there are months that do not contain any scheduled or actual revenue, the unscheduled revenue is spread evenly across those months, with the exception of empty months that fall between months containing scheduled or actual revenue. For opportunities, the value in this field is calculated by multiplying the value in the Amount field on the opportunity by the value in the Probability (%) field.
Last Updated The date and time when the revenue forecast was last updated.
Milestone A lookup to the milestone the revenue forecast relates to.
Opportunity A lookup to the opportunity the revenue forecast relates to.
Opportunity Probability (%) The probability of the opportunity that the revenue forecast relates to.
Pending Revenue Before Carryover The value displayed in the Revenue Pending Recognition field minus the value displayed in the Pending Revenue Carried Over field. This value represents the amount of pending revenue that was in the corresponding time period before any pending revenue was carried over from a previous closed time period.
Pending Revenue Carried Over

Unfulfilled pending revenue that was ready for recognition and was carried over when the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

Revenue that was not recognized in a closed time period is added to this field in the next open time period in either of the following circumstances:

  • If you are using the integration between PSA and Revenue Management
  • If Retain Pending Revenue in Closed Periods is selected on the active revenue forecast setup record
Project A lookup to the project the revenue forecast relates to.
Revenue Pending Recognition The revenue that is ready for recognition.
Revenue Recognized to Date The revenue that has already been recognized within the relevant time period. If you are using the integration between PSA and Revenue Management, this field is populated using data from Revenue Management.
Scheduled Hours The number of scheduled hours included in the % Complete revenue forecast calculation for this month.
Scheduled Revenue The revenue that is scheduled for recognition.
Scheduled Weighted Effort

The weighted effort associated with scheduled hours for the relevant monthly time period. This field contains the value returned after weighting has been applied to the value in the Scheduled Hours field. The unit of measurement used for the value in this field depends on the field you are using to base your weighting on. Time Period A lookup to the time period set on the revenue forecast.
Time Period End The end date of the time period this record relates to.
Time Period Start The start date of the time period this record relates to.
Unfulfilled Pending Revenue

Revenue that was ready for recognition but was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

Revenue that was not recognized in a closed time period is carried over into the next open time period in either of the following circumstances:

  • If you are using the integration between PSA and Revenue Management
  • If Retain Pending Revenue in Closed Periods is selected on the active revenue forecast setup record

The amount carried over is displayed in the following fields:

  • Unfulfilled Pending Revenue on the relevant revenue forecast record that looks up to the original time period
  • Pending Revenue Carried Over on the relevant revenue forecast record that looks up to the first open time period

Unfulfilled Scheduled Revenue

Scheduled revenue that was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

0 is displayed in the Scheduled Revenue field if a forecast calculation attributes scheduled revenue to a particular forecast but the associated time period is closed for forecasting. The amount that would have been displayed in the Scheduled Revenue field is displayed in the Unfulfilled Scheduled Revenue field instead, to show what the value would have been if the time period were still open.

Unfulfilled Unscheduled Hours

Unscheduled hours that were not fulfilled before:

  • The relevant time period was closed for forecasting.
  • Any associated milestones or projects were completed or closed.

0 is displayed in the Unscheduled Hours field if a forecast calculation attributes unscheduled hours to a particular forecast but the associated time period is closed for forecasting or any associated milestones or projects are completed or closed. The value that would have been displayed in the Unscheduled Hours field is displayed in the Unfulfilled Unscheduled Hours field instead, to show what it would have been if the time period were still open or the associated milestone or project were not completed or closed.

Unfulfilled Unscheduled Revenue

Unscheduled revenue that was not fulfilled before the relevant time period was closed for forecasting.

0 is displayed in the Unscheduled Revenue field if a forecast calculation attributes unscheduled revenue to a particular forecast but the associated time period is closed for forecasting. The amount that would have been displayed in the Unscheduled Revenue field is displayed in the Unfulfilled Unscheduled Revenue field instead, to show what the value would have been if the time period were still open.

Unscheduled Hours The number of unscheduled hours included in the % Complete revenue forecast calculation for this month.
Unscheduled Revenue The revenue that is currently unscheduled. For projects, if there are unscheduled hours on a milestone or project and there are months that do not contain any scheduled or actual revenue, the unscheduled revenue is spread evenly across those months, with the exception of empty months that fall between months containing scheduled or actual revenue. For opportunities, the value in this field is calculated by multiplying the value in the Amount field on the opportunity by the value in the Probability (%) field.

For example, if you have specified pse__Average_Cost_Rate_Number__c in the Unheld RR % Complete Weighting Field on the active revenue forecast setup record, this field will contain a weighted monetary value, such as a dollar value.
