No Integration with Revenue Management
If you are not using the integration between the Revenue Forecasting feature in PSA and Revenue Management, you must make it possible for Revenue Forecasting to identify the records you want to include in your forecasts.
To do this, on relevant records you must select the appropriate entry from the Recognition Method picklist, such as "Deliverable" or "Equal Split: Months". If you want to include historical records, you must remember to set the recognition method on those records as well.
This table lists the records that relate to each recognition method.
| Recognition Method | Records |
|---|---|
| Deliverable |
Est Vs Actuals Expense Milestone Miscellaneous Adjustment Resource Request Services Credit Allocation Timecard Split |

We recommend you remove the following fields from the Revenue Forecast page layout:
- Revenue Recognized to Date: the value is always zero because this field is only relevant if you are using the Revenue Management integration.
- Revenue Pending Recognition: contains the same value as the Actuals field so is not required.
For more information on the fields available on the Revenue Forecast object, see Revenue Forecast Fields.
