Setting up the Certinia Staffing Agent

Note:

This feature is part of the Certinia Early Adopter Program. This program is only available to a limited number of customers. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager.

Complete the following setup tasks before using the Certinia Staffing agent. Before completing these tasks, ensure you have completed the tasks described in Setting up PSA AI Agent Service.

Create an agent using the Certinia Staffing Agent template.

If you created an agent before Winter 2026, you must delete it before creating the new one.

Create a permission set specific to the Certinia Staffing agent that you created in step 1 with the relevant Apex class permissions.

Notes:
  • If you already have a permission set for an agent created before Winter 2026, you must delete it before creating the new one.

  • If you have a large number of Apex class assignments for permission sets in your org, an internal server error might occur when adding an Apex class to a permission set. For information about how to solve this issue, see the Salesforce Help.

3 Assign staffing permissions and the permission set that you created in step 2 to the users who interact with the agent.

Give users access to the Certinia Staffing agent that you created in step 1 by creating a custom permission set specific to agent access.

Note:

If you already have a permission set for an agent created before Winter 2026, you must delete it before creating the new one.

5 Assign the permission set you created in step 4 to the users who interact with the agent.
6 Activate the Certinia Staffing agent that you created in step 1.
