AI Actions Overview

The AI Actions card groups the AI-powered actions you can run from an account record page. Rather than navigating to a separate tab or running an action from the Actions panel, you can launch an AI action in place, watch the run progress on the card, and review the resulting records without leaving the account view. Each action available in the card is shown as its own tile with a short description and a Run button.

Identify Expansion Opportunities

Clicking Run in the Identify Expansion Opportunities sections so that:

  1. The account's industry, annual revenue, and billing country is evaluated against a CS policy template.
  2. Expansion opportunity work suggestions are created in the Work Suggestions list for your review.

After expansion opportunities have been identified, the new work suggestions are displayed in the Work Suggestions list on the same account record page. You can then click Generate Expansion Opportunity on a suggestion to create the expansion opportunity record. In the footer, you can view how many expansion opportunity work suggestions exist for the account and when the most recent suggestion was created.

Notes:
  • To prevent duplicate requests, Run is unavailable when expansion opportunities are being identified
  • Each run uses the account context and the configured prompt template to produce work suggestions.
  • Identifying expansion opportunities uses a CS policy template configured by your administrator. The template defines the prompt that AI uses to evaluate the account and decide which products to suggest. By default the packaged template is used, but your administrator can configure a different one.

Configuring the Identify Expansion Opportunities Action

If the AI Actions card is unavailable on account record pages, contact your administrator. Administrators can configure which CS policy template the action uses by editing the component properties in the Lightning App Builder.
