Resource Search Field

Here is a description of the fields that make up a resource search field. Some of these fields might not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations. For information about using resource search fields, see Resource Search Fields Overview.

Warning:

There cannot be more than 20 resource search fields in an org.

Key: * – Mandatory field

Resource Search Field - Field Reference
Field   Description
Resource Search Field Name * The name of the resource search field record.
Contact Field *

API name of the Contact field used for resource search. For example, if you want to search for resources by the Margin field on the Contact object, enter: pse__Margin__c

Note:

You cannot create multiple resource search field records with the same Contact field.

You can create resource search fields for contact fields of the following data types:

  • Checkbox
  • Date
  • Formula
  • Geolocation
  • Lookup Relationship
  • Number
  • Percent
  • Picklist
  • Text
Warning:

Do not create resource search fields for currency fields because currency conversion is not performed.
Label * A descriptive name for the resource search field to identify it for filtering and weighting purposes. The label must be unique.
