Updating Forecasts with the Latest Data On Demand

A scheduled process periodically runs to keep your forecasts up to date with the latest operational data available in the Services Forecast Live dataset. You can manually run this process if you cannot wait for the next execution.

Note:

When the data is updated, any adjustments applied to non-blank cells that have a future expiration date or have no expiration date are retained. All other adjustments are automatically deleted.

To update forecasts with the latest data:

1. From the Planning Task Launcher tab, click Update from Analytics. The Update from Analytics wizard displays.
2. In the Filters panel, for Input Data Source, select "Services Forecast Live". This ensures that all forecasts are processed.
3. Click Apply. The Plans table refreshes to display all your forecasts.
4. Click Next. The Select Settings page of the wizard displays. This page enables you to schedule future executions of the process.
5. Deselect Update from Analytics.
6. Click Save. The forecasts are updated with the latest data in a background process. You can monitor its execution from the Asynchronous Process Jobs tab.
