Deleting Forecasts from the Services Forecast Plans Dataset

You can delete forecasts from the Services Forecast Plans dataset to ensure that only the most accurate, relevant, and up-to-date forecast information is retained. You can delete forecasts in the following ways:

  • By forecast age
  • By individual forecast name
  • By selecting all existing forecasts

To delete forecasts from the Services Forecast Plans dataset:

  1. From the Planning Task Launcher page, click Delete Plans from the Services Forecast Plans Dataset. The Delete Plans from the Services Forecast Plans Dataset window opens.

  2. Select the forecasts that you want to delete by doing one of the following:

    • To delete all forecasts from the dataset, select All Existing Plans.
    • To delete forecasts that are the same age or older than a specific age, select By Plan Age and specify the age in the Select an Age... field.
    • To delete forecasts by name, select By Plan Name and search for the forecasts in the Search Plans... field.
  3. Click Delete. The Delete Plans from the Services Forecast Plans Dataset confirmation window opens.
  4. Click Delete. The selected forecasts are queued for deletion.
