Updating the Services Forecast Plans Dataset On Demand

A scheduled process periodically runs to update the Services Forecast Plans dataset with the latest data available in your forecasts. You can manually run this process if you cannot wait for the next execution.

To update the Services Forecast Plans dataset:

  1. From the Planning Task Launcher tab, click Send to Analytics. The Send to Analytics wizard displays.
  2. In the Filters panel, for Output Data Source, select "Services Forecast Plans". This ensures that all forecasts are processed when updating the Services Forecast Plans dataset.
  3. Click Apply. The Plans table refreshes to display all your forecasts.
  4. Click Next. The Select Settings page of the wizard displays. This page enables you to schedule future executions of the process.
  5. Deselect Schedule.
  6. Click Save. The Services Forecast Plans is updated with the latest forecast data in a background process. You can monitor its execution from the Asynchronous Process Jobs tab.
