Timesheet Entry Properties

This table lists the fields available in the properties pane in Lightning App Builder for the Timesheet Entry component.
Field Description Default Value
Assignment Record Details Enables you to select a custom field set to display in the Assignment tab of the Record Details panel.

The default field set contains the following fields:

  • Project
  • Role
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Actual Hour
  • Scheduled Hours
  • Billable
Default Primary Action Selects which timecard creation method appears as the primary action button on the empty Timesheet Entry grid. If the selected method is disabled in your org, the primary action defaults to Suggest Timecards; if that is also disabled, it defaults to Create From Assignments. Suggest Timecards
Grid Height (px) Enter the height of the timesheet entry grid in pixels. The minimum value is 250. 400
Hide Resource Name Summary Card If selected, hides the Resource Name summary card in the Timesheet Entry grid. False
Hide Remaining Hours to Submit Summary Card If selected, hides the Remaining Hours summary card in the Timesheet Entry grid. False
Hide Saved Hours Summary Card If selected, hides the Saved Hours summary card in the Timesheet Entry grid. False
Hide Submitted Hours Summary Card If selected, hides the Submitted Hours name summary card in the Timesheet Entry grid. False
Hide Work Calendar Summary Card If selected, hides the Work Calendar summary card in the Timesheet Entry grid. False
Milestone Record Details Enables you to select a custom field set to display in the Milestone tab of the Record Details panel.

The default field set contains the following fields:

  • Project
  • Status
  • Target Date
Project Record Details Enables you to select a custom field set to display in the Project tab of the Record Details panel.

The default field set contains the following fields:

  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Region
  • Practice
  • Group
  • Account
  • Billable
  • Project Manager
Project Task Custom Editable Field Set

Enables you to select a custom editable field set to display in the Project Task tab of the Record Details panel.

If you select a custom editable field set and retain the default read-only field set, both will be displayed together in the Record Details panel.

The default field set contains the following fields:

  • Actual Hours
  • End Date
  • Estimated Hours
  • Estimated Time to Completion (Task)
  • Hours Remaining
  • Percentage Complete
  • Projected Hours
  • Start Date
  • Status
Project Task Custom Read-Only Field Set

Enables you to select a custom read-only field set to display in the Project Task tab of the Record Details panel.

If you select a custom editable field set and retain the default read-only field set, both will be displayed together in the Record Details panel.
Use Milestones If selected, enables the user to record time against the milestone associated with the project. False
