Scheduling Forecast Calculations

To schedule forecast calculations:

1. Click Schedule Forecast on the Forecast Setup page.
2. Enter a name for the forecast calculation and use the Time Period lookup to specify the time period you want the forecast calculation to cover.
3. Select the level at which you want the forecast calculation to run (Region, Practice, or Group) and use the lookup to select a specific RPGAbbreviation of region, practice, group..
4. Choose the frequency at which you want to schedule the forecast calculations. The options are:
• Weekly: Pick the day (or days) of the week and set the Preferred Start Time for the forecast calculations to be scheduled on that day.
• Monthly: Specify the day of the month, either as a fixed date such as day 17 of every month, or as a relative date such as the third Tuesday of every month.
  If you specify a fixed date, select Run on Nearest Weekday if you want calculations that fall on a Saturday or Sunday to be scheduled for the next working day (the following Monday).
  If you specify a relative date of First, Second, Third or Fourth Weekday and the first, second, third or fourth day of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the forecast calculation job will be automatically scheduled for the next working day (the following Monday).
  Once you have specified the date, set the Preferred Start Time for the forecast calculations to be scheduled.
5. Click Schedule.

To view or delete the ForecastBatchCoordinator scheduled job: from Setup, click Monitoring | Scheduled Jobs. Using Lightning ExperienceNavigate to Setup | Environments | Jobs | Apex Jobs.

You will be notified by email when the scheduled forecast calculation job has completed.
