Adding Customizable Lightning Components to a Lightning Record Page

This topic describes how to add customizable components to Lightning Record Pages.

Tip: Before you begin, make sure you have permission to access the relevant objects.

To add a customizable component to a Lightning Record page:

1. Navigate to the Lightning Record page that you want to customize.
2. Edit the page. The Lightning App Builder is displayed.
3. Click and drag the customizable component to the relevant part of the Lightning page layout.
4. Use the options in the Component Properties pane to configure the component. See the related topics for information about how to customize each specific component.
5. Save and activate the Lightning Record page.
