Saving Filters in Gantt

You can save and reuse one filter or a group of filters (filter set) for each project.

To save a filter:

  1. In the filter tags section, click Save New Filter. The Save Filter dialog opens.
  2. Enter a name, and then select the Set as Default checkbox, if needed.

    You do not need to set a default filter.

  3. Click Save. The filter is displayed in the My Saved Filters section.

You can change the displayed results by clicking another saved filter or defining and applying a new filter. The currently applied filter set is highlighted.

Default Filters

The results of a default filter are displayed each time you open Gantt. The number of filters in the default filter is displayed on the Filter Tasks button.

To set or remove a saved filter as the default, click , and then select the relevant option.

Editing and Deleting Saved Filters

To edit saved filters, click Ellipsis menu, and then select the relevant option from the list.

Replacing the Contents of Saved Filters

To replace the contents of a saved filter:

  1. Set the attributes of one or more filters.
  2. Click Ellipsis menu for the saved filter to be replaced, and then select Replace filter contents.
  3. Click Replace.
