Removing Bank Connections

Bank connections store the details of each bank account you have connected to using Envestnet FastLink or Plaid Link.

Once you have removed the required bank account connections:

  • Your bank integration will no longer attempt to retrieve transactions for this bank account. However, it still retains the account link in its records for audit purposes.
  • The Is Obsolete field on the bank account connection's record is selected for all the bank accounts belonging to the connection's financial institution. Accounting will no longer attempt to retrieve transactions for this financial institution.

To remove a bank account connection:

  1. Log in as the dedicated Envestnet integration user or Plaid integration user.
  2. Click the Bank Account Connections tab.
  3. Click a bank connection associated with the bank or institution details you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove Bank Connection.
