Using the PSA Mobile Application

The PSA Mobile application enables you to access data on the go. Use it for time entry, expense entry, expressing your interest in upcoming work opportunities, viewing weekly summary, and approving, rejecting, or reassigning expense reports and timecards, and managing skills and certifications on your mobile phone. You must have the PSA - Mobile permission set assigned to access this functionality.

In the Salesforce mobile application, search and select PSA Mobile application from the App Launcher. In the PSA Mobile application, the following tabs are visible:

  • Enter Expense
  • Enter Time
  • Expense Reports to Approve
  • Manage Skills and Certifications
  • Timecards to Approve
  • Weekly Summary
  • Work Opportunity Hub

Enter Expense

The Enter Expense tab uses the PSA Expense Entry Lightning component which enables you to submit expenses against assignments and milestones associated with projects.

Note:

Your administrator must assign you the following permission sets, to use the Enter Expense tab:

  • PSA - Enter Expenses Against Projects and Assignments
  • PSA - Enter Expenses Against Milestones

This page is available on mobile only. To use this on a desktop select Multiple Expense Entry UI from App Launcher.

Enter Time

The Enter Time tab uses the PSA Time Entry Lightning component which enables you to submit timecards against assignments, milestones, and tasks associated with projects.

Note:

Your administrator must assign you the following permission sets to use the Enter Time tab:

  • PSA - Enter Time Against Projects and Assignments
  • PSA - Enter Time Against Milestones
  • PSA - Enter Time Against Task

This page is available on mobile only. To use this on desktop, select Time Entry from App Launcher.

Expense Reports to Approve

The Expense Reports to Approve tab allows you to approve, reject, or reassign the expense reports submitted for approval using the following tabs:

  • Primary Expense Report Approval Requests: Displays a list of primary expense report approval requests assigned to you. By tapping the approval request, you can select an approval request to review the details. You can also opt for mass approval by selecting one or more approval requests together and then tap Approve, Reject, or Reassign on the top of your page.
  • Delegated Expense Report Approval Requests: Displays a list of expense report approval requests delegated to you.
Note: Your administrator must assign you the PSA - Approve Expense Reports permission set, to enable you to use the Expense Reports to Approve tab. For more information, contact your administrator.

Manage Skills and Certifications

The Manage Skills and Certifications tab allows you to view and manage your skills and certifications using the following tabs:

  • My Skills: A list of the 50 most recently updated skill or certification rating records that relate to skills.
  • My Certifications: A list of the 50 most recently updated skill or certification rating records that relate to certifications.
  • My Aspirations: A list of the 50 most recently updated skill or certification rating records that have the Aspiration checkbox selected. This enables you to view at a glance the skills you want to learn or improve and the certifications you want to update or acquire.
Note: You can search to view more specific records.

Timecards to Approve

The Timecards to Approve tab allows you to approve, reject, or reassign the timecards submitted for approval using the following tabs:

  • Primary Timecard Approval Requests: Displays a list of primary timecard approval requests assigned to you. By tapping the approval request, you can select an approval request to review the details. You can also opt for mass approval by selecting one or more approval requests together and then tap Approve, Reject, or Reassign on the top of your page.
  • Delegated Timecard Approval Requests: Displays a list of timecard approval requests delegated to you.
Note: Your administrator must assign you the PSA - Approve Timecards permission set, to enable you to use the Timecards to Approve tab. For more information, contact your administrator.

Weekly Summary

The Weekly Summary tab is available on mobile only. This tab uses the PSA My Weekly Summary component which provides a weekly view of the status of all your projects, assignments, and project task assignments.

Note:

Your administrator must assign you the PSA - My Weekly Summary permission set, to use the Weekly Summary tab. For more information, contact your administrator.

Work Opportunity Hub

The Work Opportunity Hub tab provides a convenient way to explore and express interest in upcoming work opportunities that you would like to be assigned to. There are two tabs:

  • Available tab: Enables you to select from a list of available resource requests. You can select a resource request to review the details and mark them as interested or not interested as per your preferences and availability.
  • Interested tab: Displays a list of resource requests that you have already expressed interest in. You can also mark them as not interested.

By default, the resource request most recently modified is displayed at the top of the list. This allows you to easily identify the latest updates and changes made to the requests.
