Allocation Basis Versions

This topic relates to the allocation basis versions in Lightning. To view versions in Sencha, see Managing an Allocation Basis.

An allocation basis version is created automatically whenever you create or edit the basis. The first version is created when you create an allocation basis.

The original details before editing are saved as a separate row in the Allocation Basis Versions grid and the new details become the most recent version that is used in any subsequent allocations. Allocations always use the most recent version of an allocation basis.

You can view the versions of an allocation basis by navigating to the Versions tab on an allocation basis version record.

To view the basis versions:

  1. From the App Launcher, navigate to the Allocation Bases tab and open an allocation basis record.
  2. In the Criteria tab edit the lines, or add, or delete any lines and click Save.
  3. In the Versions tab you can view the most recent version on top followed by the previous versions.

To view version details, click any version from the list. The Allocation Basis Version page displays. This page is read only.
