Editing Objectives

You can edit objectives from:

  • The Objectives tab
  • Success Tracker

Editing Objectives from the Objectives Tab

To edit an objective from the Objectives tab:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Objectives tab.
  2. Click Show Actions next to the objective that you want to edit, then click Edit. The edit window displays.
  3. Edit the information you want. The displayed fields might vary depending on whether your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
  4. Click Save to save the objective or Save & New to save the objective and create a new one.
Tip:

You can also add, edit, and delete related playbooks from the Related tab on the objective record page.

Editing Objectives from Success Tracker

You can edit an objective from Success Tracker as follows:

  • In the Success Tracker tab of the related success plan's record page if the objective has an associated success plan.
  • In the Success Plans tab of the related account's record page if the objective has an associated account. If you cannot view this tab, contact your administrator.

If an objective is not associated with either a success plan or an account, you must edit it from the Objectives tab.

Depending on your org configuration, Success Tracker might be enabled on additional pages and workspaces in Customer Success Cloud. For more information, contact your administrator.
