Objective Fields

The Objective object includes the following fields.

Objective Fields

Description

Category   The category that the objective is grouped by.
DEPRECATED: Account   This field is obsolete. To associate the objective with an account, use the Parent Account field.
End Date   The end date of the objective.
Objective Owner   The owner of the objective.
Objective Type   The type of the record to indicate if it is an internal or external objective.
Owner is Current User   If selected, the owner of the objective is the current Salesforce user.
Parent Account   The account associated with the objective.
Priority   The priority of the objective.
Record Type R The type of the objective record. This field displays only if your administrator has created one or more record types for this object and added this field to the necessary page layouts. The user can select a record type when creating a new objective record from the Actions panel. If only one record type has been created for this object, that record is selected by default. Start Date   The start date of the objective.
Status   The status of the objective.
Success Criteria   A summary of the success criteria for the objective. For more information about the formatting options available in the rich text editor, see the Salesforce Help.
Success Plan   The success plan that relates to the objective.

Template  

If selected, the objective is a template. An objective template can include the following child records:

  • Objective KPIs
  • Playbooks
  • Playbook tasks
