Editing Objective KPIs
You can edit an objective KPI:
- From the Objective KPIs related list in the Related tab of the related objective's record page
- In Success Tracker, if the related objective is associated with a success plan
- In the Objective KPI Overview grid in the Objective KPIs tab of a success plan record page, if its parent objective is associated with a success plan
- When creating a success plan from a template
- In the Objective KPIs tab
Editing Objective KPIs from the Related Objective's Record Page
To edit an objective KPI from the related objective's record page:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Objectives tab.
- Click the objective associated with the objective KPI you want to edit. The objective's record page displays.
- Click the Related tab.
- Click next to the objective KPI that you want to edit, then click Edit.
- Edit the information you want in the Objective KPIs section. You can add or delete objective KPIs using and .
- Click Save to save the objective KPI or Save & New to save the objective KPI and create a new one.
Editing Objective KPIs in Success Tracker
You can edit an objective KPI in Success Tracker as follows:
- In the Success Tracker tab of the related success plan's record page if the objective KPI belongs to an objective that is associated with a success plan.
- In the Success Plans tab of the related account's record page if the objective KPI belongs to an objective that is associated with an account. If you cannot view this tab, contact your administrator.
- In the Record Details panel of Success Tracker if the related objective is associated with a success plan.
If an objective is not associated with a success plan, you must edit it from either the Objectives tab or the related objective's record page.
You can edit an objective KPI in one of the following ways:
To edit an objective KPI related to an objective associated with a success plan in Success Tracker:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Success Plans tab.
- Click the success plan that the objective belongs to. The success plan's record page displays.
- On the success plan's record page, click the Success Tracker tab.
- In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the objective related to the objective KPI that you want to edit. To view the objective you want, you might need to click next to its related success plan.
- Click in the toolbar. The edit window displays.
- Edit the information you want in the Objective KPIs section. You can add or delete objective KPIs using and .
- Click Save.
To edit an objective KPI related to an objective associated with an account in Success Tracker:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Accounts tab.
- Click the account that the objective belongs to. The account's record page displays.
- On the account's record page, click the Success Plans tab. If you cannot view this tab, contact your administrator.
- In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the objective related to the objective KPI that you want to edit. To view the objective you want, you might need to click next to its related success plan.
- Click in the toolbar. The edit window displays.
- Edit the information you want in the Objective KPIs section. You can add or delete objective KPIs using and .
- Click Save.
You can edit an objective KPI of an existing objective from the Record Details panel of Success Tracker. To do this, the related objective must be associated with a success plan.
To edit an objective KPI of an existing objective in the Record Details panel of Success Tracker:
- Navigate to Success Tracker. For more information, see Using Success Tracker.
- In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the objective related to the objective KPI that you want to edit.
- Click in the toolbar.
- Click Edit in the Objective KPIs section of the Record Details panel. The Edit Objective KPIs window displays.
- Edit the information you want. You can also add or delete objective KPIs using and .
- Click Save.
Editing Objective KPIs in the Objective KPI Overview Grid
To edit an objective KPI in the Objective KPI Overview grid:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Success Plans tab.
- Click the parent success plan of the objective associated with the objective KPI that you want to edit. The success plan's record page displays.
- On the success plan's record page, click the Objective KPIs tab.
- In the Objective KPI Overview grid, edit the fields you want by double clicking.
- Click Save.
Editing Objective KPIs when Creating a Success Plan from a Template
You can edit objective KPIs that belong to an objective included in a success plan template when creating a success plan from a template. This is useful if you want to customize objective KPIs already included in the template before creating the new success plan. To do this, you must create a success plan from either the Actions panel or Success Tracker.
To edit objective KPIs when creating a success plan from a template:
- In the Select Records grid of the Create Success Plan window, click next to an objective that includes the objective KPI that you want to edit. Then, click Edit Objective KPIs. The Edit Objective KPIs window displays.
- You can do the following in the Objective KPIs grid of the Edit Objective KPIs window:
- To edit an objective KPI, double-click any of its fields, then enter or select the information you want.
- To create an objective KPI, click , then enter or select the information you want.
- To delete an objective KPI, select the objective KPI that you want to delete, then click . You can select and delete multiple objective KPIs at once.
- Click Apply.

Editing Objective KPIs from the Objective KPIs Tab
To edit an objective KPI from the Objective KPIs tab:
- In the App Launcher, navigate to the Objective KPIs tab.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the objective KPI that you want to edit, then click Edit.
- Click next to the objective KPI that you want to edit, then click Edit.
- Edit the information you want.
- Click Save to save the objective KPI or Save & New to save the objective KPI and create a new one.
