Deleting a Task Dependency Relationship
There are several ways that you can delete a task dependency relationship.
Context Menu
To delete a task dependency relationship using the context menu:
- Right-click the task that you want to delete the relationship for.
- Hover over Delete dependency.
- Select the name of the related task that you want to delete the relationship for.
- Click Save.
Schedule Pane
To delete a task dependency relationship A relationship between two tasks. If a task is completed early or late, this has an effect on the start and end date of the task that succeeds it. in the Schedule pane:
- Double-click the dependency relationship that you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
Tasks Pane
To delete a dependency relationship in the Task pane, the related task must be a predecessor. If the related task is a successor, you must select the Predecessors cell in that task.
To delete a task dependency relationship using the Tasks pane:
- Select the Predecessors cell of the task that you want to delete the relationship for.
- Clear the name of the task in the Predecessors field that you want to delete the relationship for.
- Click Save.
