Success Plan Fields

The Success Plan object includes the following fields.

Success Plan Fields
Field   Description
Account   The account that relates to the success plan.
Annual Revenue   The annual revenue for the account that relates to the success plan.
Challenges and Risks  

A summary of the challenges and risks identified in the success plan.

If you create a success plan from an opportunity using AI, this summary of challenges and risks is AI-generated.

Effective Date  

The date the success plan is effective from.

Note:

If this field is not included on your page layout, the effective date on new records created from templates defaults to today's date.

Estimated Hours   The estimated hours for the success plan. This amount does not include rolled up hours from other associated records.
Last Business Review   The date of the last business review for the account that relates to the success plan. The date of the last business review must be before the date of the next business review.
Next Business Review   The date of the next business review for the account that relates to the success plan. The date of the next business review must be after the date of the last business review.
Opportunity   The opportunity associated with the success plan. This field is always displayed after selecting a record type in the Create Success Plan from Opportunity window even if the field has not been added to the selected record type's page layout.
Owner is Current User   If selected, the owner for the success plan is the current Salesforce user.
Record Type R

The type of the success plan record. The user can select a record type when creating a new success plan record from the Actions panel. If only one record type has been created for this object, that record type is selected by default.

Note:

This field displays only if your administrator has created one or more record types for this object and added this field to the necessary page layouts. For more information, see Setting up Customer Success Cloud.

Region   The region associated with the success plan.
Role   The resource role associated with the success plan. The Role global picklist value set contains the options available in this picklist field. This field is mandatory when automatically allocating resources to the success plan.
Template  

If selected, the success plan is a template. A success plan template can include the following child records:

  • Objectives, including their related objective KPIs
  • Playbooks
  • Playbook tasks

The Template field is selected by default when creating a record from the Actions panel on the record page of a template success plan, objective, or playbook, or from Success Tracker.

Status   The status of the success plan.
Success Plan Owner   The owner of the success plan.
Summary  

A summary of the success plan.
