Creating a Success Plan Skill

You can associate CS skills and CS skill sets with success plans using:

  • The Add Skills button on the Success Plan Skills tab of the success plan's record page.
  • The New button in the Success Plan Skills related list of the success plan's record page.

A Success Plan Skill record is created when associating skills, which can be viewed in the Success Plan Skills tab and Success Plan Skills related list on the success plan's record page.

Note:

You can associate a maximum of 15 skills with a success plan.

You can associate CS skills and CS Skill sets with the success plans in one of the following ways:

To associate CS skills or CS skill sets with a success plan from the Success Plan Skills tab of the success plan's record page:

  1. On the Success Plan tab, click the success plan twith which you want to associate CS skills and CS skill sets. The success plan's record page displays.
  2. On the success plan's record page, click the Success Plan Skills tab.
  3. Click Add Skills.
  4. In the Add Skills window, select the CS Skill or CS Skill Set in the drop-down list.
  5. Search for and select the skills or skill sets you want to associate with the success plan. You can view skills or skill sets related to the searched keyword, including their type and the role they are associated with. You can also select the level of competence in the CS skill or CS skill set that is required by the success plan in the Minimum Rating field. Enter at least two characters in the Search field and click Show All Results for “ ” to open the Select CS Skill or Select CS Skill Set window. Then, select the skills or skill sets that you want from the grid and click Select to add them to the skills grid in the Add Skills window. For more information, see Using Advanced Lookup.
  6. Click Add. The added skills and skill sets are displayed in the Skills Management grid.
Note:

You cannot select the same skill more than once. If a skill is already selected as an individual skill, ensure it is deselected in the selected skill set.

To associate CS skills and CS skill sets with success plans from the Success Plan Skills related list of the success plan's record page:

  1. On the Success Plan tab, click the success plan with which you want to associate CS skills or CS skill set. The success plan's record page displays.
  2. On the success plan's record page, click the Related tab.
  3. Click New in the header of the Success Plan Skills related list. The New Success Plan Skill window opens.
  4. [Optional] In the Minimum Rating field, select the level of competence in the CS skill that is required by the success plan.
  5. Select the CS skill to associate with the success plan.
  6. [Optional] Search for and select the CS skill set to associate with the success plan.
  7. Click Save to save your new success plan skill record or Save & New to save your new record and create another success plan skill record.
