The Certinia Resourcing Agent is a conversational Veda Flex AI agent that helps you manage resource assignments using natural language.

Core Capabilities

The Certinia Resourcing agent assists you with managing resource assignments by:

• Creating resource requests for a project or opportunity
• Updating the details and preferred schedule of a resource request
• Managing the skills and skill sets recorded on a resource request
• Searching for suitable resources for an assignment or resource request
• Holding a resource on one or more resource requests
• Releasing a hold on one or more resource requests
• Assigning a resource to a resource request
• Swapping the resource on an existing assignment
• Splitting an assignment to assign a different resource from a specified date
• Splitting an assignment to create a new resource request for the remaining work
• Removing a resource from an assignment
• Enabling Auto-Staffing on a resource request
• Managing the shortlist of candidate resources for a resource request

Interacting with the Agent

You can describe what you want to do using natural language, and the agent asks for any additional information it needs before taking action.

You can also use relative date expressions such as "next week" or "this quarter", and the agent calculates exact dates based on your PSA Work Calendar.

To start a conversation, open an agent chat from the Veda global action in the Salesforce header. If you have access to more than one agent in your org, select your agent from the picker.
