Find, view, and manage your resources and active projects with the Resource Planner and Project Planner. You can view assignments and held resource requestsA resource request with a status of “held” and a schedule. The Resource field is populated. together with schedules, organized by resourceA contact that works on a project. or projectA collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets.. Resource Planner uses color coding to indicate the allocation status of resources. Statuses are over, under or correctly allocated.

When you make changes in Project Task Gantt and Resource and Project Planners, temporary status messages display on the screen. The messages fade after a few seconds. To have your messages persist, move your mouse pointer into the message box.

The Resource and Project Planners do not support inline frames (iframes). Therefore you can't use planners with the Console tab or Service Cloud Console, or any custom integrations that use iframes.
