Miscellaneous Adjustments-Based Budget Consumption Fields

You can view the Miscellaneous Adjustments-Based Budget Consumption grid in the Consumption tab of a budget record, although an administrator can configure it to be displayed elsewhere on the page.

The grid list the miscellaneous adjustments that are consuming the budget. The permissions required to use this component are listed in Permission for the Miscellaneous Adjustments-Based Budget Consumption Lightning Component.

Note:

This feature is only supported if PSA is configured to track the consumption of individual budgets. For more information, see Track Consumption of Individual Budgets.

Grid

The following columns are displayed in the grid. The values in these columns are derived from the respective fields in the related miscellaneous adjustment record.

Miscellaneous Adjustments-Based Budget Consumption Grid Columns
Name Description
Miscellaneous Adjustment Name

The name of the miscellaneous adjustment. You can click to navigate to the miscellaneous adjustment.
Budget Allocation The budget allocation assigned to the miscellaneous adjustment. You can click to navigate to the budget allocation.
Description The description for the miscellaneous adjustment.
Transaction Category The miscellaneous adjustment's transaction category.
Effective Date

Date from which the adjustment applies.
Amount Allocated

The amount consumed by the miscellaneous adjustment.

  • If the budget is the Customer Purchase Order budget in a budget allocation, this is the amount consumed by miscellaneous adjustments with a transaction category that is included in the BillingsCategories configuration option in the Actuals configuration group.

  • If the budget is an Internal Budget in a budget allocation, this is the amount consumed by miscellaneous adjustments with a transaction category that is included in the InternalCostsCategories or OtherCostsCategories configuration option in the Actuals configuration group. If the budget allocation uses more than one internal budget, a miscellaneous adjustment's amount is apportioned across the budgets according to the percentage specified in the budget allocation.

The toolbar above the Miscellaneous Adjustments-Based Budget Consumption grid contains:

Search Enter a search string then press Enter to find rows where one of the following columns contains the search string:
  • Miscellaneous Adjustment Name
  • Budget Allocation
  • Description
  • Transaction Category

The search is case-insensitive.
