Multi-account contacts enable you to associate multiple contacts with the same Accounting companies and accounts. They also enable you to associate the same contact with multiple Accounting companies and accounts. Examples of both scenarios are provided below. This enables you to send reminders and customer statements in Automated Collections to the relevant users in your organization. To do so, you associate contacts with multiple companies account config records.
When created, the multi-account contacts automatically inherit the Accounting company and account that relate to the multiple companies account config. For more information about creating a multi-account contact, see Creating Multi-Account Contacts.
