Activity Tracker Lightning Component Fields

The tables below show the buttons, filter buttons, and filter fields displayed in the Activity Tracker component. For more information about this component, see Customer Success Cloud Lightning Components.

Buttons

Buttons in the Activity Tracker Component
Button Name Description
Search records...

Narrows the displayed activities based on the text you enter.

Add Activity Add Menu

Opens a drop-down list that contains the following actions:

  • Add CS Activity: Opens the Create CS Activity window, enabling you to create a CS activity record.
  • Add Task: Opens the Create Playbook Task window, enabling you to create a playbook task record.
Refresh Refresh

Refreshes the tracker to display any external changes.

Filter  Activties Filter

Opens and closes the Filters panel, enabling you to filter the activities displayed.

Expand Activity Tracker Expand Full Screen View

Displays the tracker in full screen.

Collapse Activity Tracker Collapse Full Screen View

Collapses the tracker when it is displayed in full screen.

Expand Expand Activity Tracker

Shows the records available in the related section in the tracker.

Collapse Collapse Activity Tracker

Hides the records available in the related section in the tracker.

Show Details

Show Details

Shows the panel with additional activity information. This button does not display if there is no additional information to show.

Note:

You can define additional fields to display in the panel on monthly activity cards using the CS Cloud Record Details Panel Settings custom setting. For more information, see Custom Settings.

Hide Details

Hide Details

Hides the panel with additional activity information. This button does not display if there is no additional information to hide.
Actions Actions

Opens a drop-down list that contains actions for each supported activity type. The following actions are available, depending on the activity type:

  • Edit/Create: Opens the Create CS Activity window, where you can edit or create a draft activity.
  • Edit: Opens the Edit CS Activity window, where you can edit an existing CS activity.
  • Delete: Opens the deletion confirmation window, where you can delete a CS activity, objective, objective KPI, playbook, playbook task, or success plan.
  • Manage Attachments: Opens the Manage Attachments window, where you can add attachments to a CS activity and preview or delete them.

View More

View More

Displays up to 10 additional activities at a time when available.

View Previous Months

View Previous Months

Displays 12 additional monthly activity sections at a time when available. This button displays only when All Time is selected as the date range in the Filters panel.

Filter Buttons

Filter Buttons in the Activity Tracker Component
Button Description
Reset

Returns the filter criteria to the default values.

Apply

Updates the contents of the tracker using the filter criteria specified.

Filter Fields

Filter Fields in the Activity Tracker Component
Field Section Description Default
Saved Filters Select the filter set you want to apply. For more information, see Filter Sets Overview.
Account General

Search for and select one or more accounts to view their associated activities in the tracker. This field is automatically populated when using the tracker on a record page. This field does not display when using the tracker on an account record page.

Date Range

Select the date range for the activities displayed in the tracker. The available options are:

  • Next Seven Days
  • Last Seven Days
  • Current Month
  • Last Month
  • Last Six Months
  • All Time
Notes:
  • The Current Month date range includes the entire period of time from the beginning of the current month to the end of the current month.

  • The All Time date range includes the last five years.
My Activities Activities If selected, only the activities that you own or are assigned to display in Activity Tracker. Deselected
Type

Select one or more activity types that you want to view in Activity Tracker. The available options are:

  • --None--
  • Meeting
  • Note
  • CS Summary
Objects for Upcoming Activities

Search for and select the objects for which you want to view activities in the Upcoming Activities section in Activity Tracker. The following objects are available:

  • CS Activity
  • Objective
  • Objective KPI
  • Playbook
  • Playbook Task
  • Success Plan

This field does not support custom objects.

Success Plan Search for and select the success plans for which you want to view CS activities in Activity Tracker.
Objective Search for and select the objectives for which you want to view CS activities in Activity Tracker.
Objective KPI Search for and select the objective KPIs for which you want to view CS activities in Activity Tracker.
Playbook Search for and select the playbooks for which you want to view CS activities in Activity Tracker.
Notes:
  • You can define additional fields to display in the Filters panel using the Activity Tracker Filters Panel Fields field of the CS Cloud Filter Settings custom setting. For more information, see Custom Settings.
  • Activity Tracker filters do not apply to draft activities.

  • The Record Type field is not supported for filtering in Activity Tracker's Filters panel.

  • If Activity Tracker is open on a record page with a lookup field to the same object in CS Activity, and that field is included in the Activity Tracker Filters Panel Fields field set, then the field is hidden in the Filters panel. If Activity Tracker is open on a record page with lookup fields to parent objects, then the fields are hidden in the Filters panel. In addition, the following fields are hidden, depending on the location of Activity Tracker:

    • The Account field on account record pages
    • The Success Plan field on success plan record pages
    • The Objective field on objective record pages
    • The Playbook field on playbook record pages
