About the Delivery Tracker

The Delivery Tracker enables you to do the following:

  • View your projects and their associated records, making it easy to view the status of your projects.
  • View the current hierarchy created for a project.
  • Determine if a hierarchy is necessary for your projects.
    For more information, see Project Hierarchies.
  • View Project Actuals fields.
  • View the total revenue forecast in each monthly time period for each of the project records in the hierarchy.
  • Filter your displayed programs and project hierarchies.
  • Customize your view by dragging and dropping columns.
  • View the totals for each project and project actuals column displayed in the grid.
  • View your projects in a timeline, indicating which are approaching their start or end dates.
Notes:
  • Project totals are only displayed for numerical fields.
  • Project currencies are displayed in the corporate currency by default, unless a different currency is selected.

Notes:
  • Your administrator must assign you the relevant permissions for each record page the Delivery Tracker is added to.
  • You can view up to 1,000 records on the Delivery Tracker.

Delivery Tracker View Switcher

The following views are available in Delivery Tracker:

  • Revenue Forecasts
  • Summary
  • Timeline

The revenue forecasts view, when enabled, provides a view of the total revenue forecast in each monthly time period for each of the project records in the hierarchy.

The summary view provides an overview of your projects and their associated records, enabling you to view at-a-glance information about your projects.

The timeline view provides a scheduler view of your projects, enabling you to view when projects are approaching their start and end dates. This also supports ease of viewing the overall progress of a parent project or portfolio, as you can view which project is due to start and finish within the collection or hierarchy. Delivery Tracker supports the timeline view on any page the Delivery Tracker is placed.

Notes:
  • Timeline view does not retain sorting or layout changes to columns made in the summary view.
  • Milestones and project tasks are not included in the timeline view.

Using Portfolios with Delivery Tracker

You can also view the projects contained in portfolios in Delivery Tracker. For more information, see Creating Portfolio Rules.

Delivery Tracker updates in-line with changes made in the Manage Portfolios window, enabling you to always view the most current version of your portfolio.

Portfolios viewed in Delivery Tracker are flat, and actuals at the parent level are not rolled-up by default. To view hierarchies and rolled-up values for portfolios in Delivery Tracker, select the "Include Full Project Hierarchies" filter option.
