Generating an Account Summary

You can generate an account summary by clicking:

  • Generate Account Summary in the Actions panel on account record pages, which opens the summary in the Generate Account Summary window
  • Generate in the Overview tab on account record pages, which displays the summary with each of the sections available as a tab

Generating an Account Summary from the Actions Panel

To generate an account summary from the Actions panel:

  1. Go to the account record page that you want to generate an account summary for.
  2. Click Generate Account Summary in the Actions panel.
  3. Review the summarized information in the Generate Account Summary window.
  4. [Optional] Save the summary for future use:

    1. Click Save Account Summary.
    2. Enter a name for the account summary.
    3. Click Save.

Generating an Account Summary from the Overview Tab

To generate an account summary from the Overview tab on account record pages:

  1. Go to the account record page that you want to generate an account summary for.
  2. Click the Overview tab.
  3. Click Generate.
  4. Review the summarized information across the section tabs.
  5. [Optional] From any section tab, rate the generated content by clicking Like or Dislike.
  6. [Optional] Save the summary for future reference:

    1. Click Share Options.
    2. Click Save Account Summary.
    3. Enter a name for the account summary.
    4. Click Save.

To regenerate an account summary, click Regenerate Summary.

Tip:

You can create expansion opportunities from account summaries in:

  • The Generate Account Summary window, by clicking Create Expansion Opportunity.
  • The Overview tab on account record pages, by clicking the Suggested Expansion Opportunities tab | Open Next Steps Panel | Create Expansion Opportunity.

In both cases, the summary’s suggested expansion opportunities are used to automatically populate the new expansion opportunity’s description. For more information, see Creating Expansion Opportunities.
