Exporting a Business Review Summary as a Presentation

You can export a business review summary as a PowerPoint presentation that uses a CS presentation template you or your administrator have created. The exported file uses the AI-generated business review content and retains the text formatting defined in the template.

To export a business review summary as a presentation:

  1. You can export the business review summary from the account record page or from the Generate Business Review Summary window.
  2. On the record page, click or in the Generate Business Review Summary window, click Export as Presentation.
  3. In the Export as Presentation window, find the CS presentation template you want to use.
  4. Review the Account column to identify templates restricted to a specific account. Templates without an account are available for all accounts.
  5. You can enter at least three characters in the search field to filter the list by name, account, type, or description.
  6. Select a template.
  7. Click Export. The presentation is downloaded as a PPTX file named after the account, the summary type, and the current date and time.

If no suitable template is available, you can create one without leaving the Export as Presentation window by clicking Create CS Presentation Template. After you create the template, it's automatically selected in the list, so you can click Export without searching for it. For more information, see Setting up CS Presentation Templates.

How the Summary Content Is Added to the Presentation?

When you export a business review summary, the export adds the AI-generated content to the presentation in one of two ways, depending on the template you select:

  • If the template contains summary placeholders, the export replaces each placeholder with the matching summary section and keeps the formatting applied to the placeholder. Only the sections that have a placeholder are exported, so include a placeholder for every section you want in the presentation.   • If the template contains no summary placeholders, the export generates a slide for each summary section using the first Title and Body layout in the template. The section title becomes the slide title, and the section content becomes the slide body.

To export a summary, your template must contain either summary placeholders or a Title and Body layout. If it contains neither, the export cannot complete, and prompts you to add a placeholder or a Title and Body layout, or to select a different template.

Note:

If your selected template is very large, the export uses Salesforce Content Deliveries to transfer the file. If Content Deliveries is not enabled in your org or you do not have the Create Content Deliveries user permission, the window displays an inline error. Contact your administrator to enable Content Deliveries and assign the permission.
