AI Prompt Configuration Builder Overview

The AI Prompt Configuration Builder enables you to create a new prompt configuration or clone an existing one to generate the required output using generative AI. Configurations can be customized to retrieve the data from your org that is required to generate accurate outputs. The summaries created by your prompt configurations are generated and displayed on the components they are created for. For example, the PSA Resource Summary Configuration custom prompt is used to generate resource summaries in PSA. Therefore, you can generate a resource summary from the Resourcing tab of the Resource Request record page.

AI prompt configurations are created in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder, and the configuration it generates are used by other packages such as PSA and Customer Success Cloud.

Prompt Configurations

The navigation pane of the AI Prompt Configuration Builder contains two sections:

Certinia Configurations
My Configurations

CertiniaCertinia provides a few configurations by default under Certinia Configurations. You can do either of the following:

Customize default configurations directly, then save your changes as a cloned configuration.
Clone the default configuration, then customize it, and save your changes.

You can also create new configurations if you do not want to use the default configuration. For more information, see Creating AI Prompt Configurations.

Custom Prompts

Custom prompts are predefined instructions that guide the AI model to generate the required information. Custom prompts are readily available in your org, and you cannot create a new one. When creating a configuration, you must always select a predefined custom prompt to further define your configuration. The sections, fields, and filters visible on the AI Prompt Configuration Builder depend on the custom prompt you select.

Note:

Once you select the custom prompt, if you want to change the custom prompt after saving the configuration file, you must delete the existing one and create a new configuration.

Object Data to Summarize

The custom prompt that you select defines the main object and the related lists that are used to retrieve the fields to generate the summary. In the section where the object fields are displayed, you can manage the object fields that you want your prompt to summarize. You can select fields from the source object or fields from the object related to the source object. You can easily add, update, and delete the fields on the Manage Fields window. You can only view and select the fields that you have read access to.
