Configuring the PSA Resource Summary Configuration

You can configure the prompt used to generate resource summaries by managing the parameters that determine the specific fields and related list records that are referenced by the summary.

This feature is part of the Certinia Early Adopter Program. This program is only available to a limited number of customers. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager.

Prompt configurations are managed in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder. For more information on setting up the AI Prompt Configuration Builder, see Setting Up AI Prompt Configuration Builder.

Cloning the Default Configuration

From the AI Prompt Configuration Builder you can clone the default PSA Resource Summary Configuration available under Certinia Configurations. For more information, see Cloning AI Prompt Configurations.

Notes:
  • When you clone the configuration, the API name is auto-populated and appended with a number. For example, ResourceSummaryConfiguration1, ResourceSummaryConfiguration2.
  • You can also create a new resource summary configuration but we recommend that always clone the default configuration. For more information on creating a new configuration, see Creating AI Prompt Configurations.

Configuring the Parameters

The resource summary has the following parameters that you can configure in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder:

  • Resource Properties, which enables you to select the fields from the Resource object that you want to include in the resource summary.
  • Related Resource Request Fields, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Resource Request related list that you want to include in the resource summary.
  • Related Skill or Certifications Ratings Fields, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Skill or Certification Ratings related list that you want to include in the resource summary.
  • Related Resource Skill Request Fields to Prioritize, which enables you to select the fields and filter the records of the Resource Skill Request related list you want to be prioritized in the resource summary.

Configuring Filters

You can add and edit filters to refine the related list records from the AI Prompt Configuration Builder. For more information, see Adding Filters to Related List Fields in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder and Editing Filters to Related List Fields in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder.

Configuring Limit and Orders

You can limit the number of records and arrange them in either ascending or descending order in the generated resource summary. For more information on how to add limit and orders, see Limiting and Ordering Records Displayed in AI Summaries and Editing Record Limits and Ordering in AI Summaries.

Renaming Configurations

You can rename the cloned PSA resource summary configuration. For more information, see Renaming AI Prompt Configurations.
