AI Connector Settings

The AI Connector Settings custom setting controls how the chat container connects to the agent service.

AI Connector Settings Fields
Field Description Default Value
AI Connector Named Credential The named credential API name for the shared agent proxy. When populated, multi-agent routing is used. Leave blank to use the legacy AI Connector Service URL field. N/A
AI Connector Service URL Legacy single-agent endpoint. The named credential or base URL for the AI Connector service. When using a named credential, provide only its name (for example, "MyCredential"). Used only when the AI Connector Named Credential field is blank. N/A
Agent Claim The identity of the agent on the Certinia Agent platform, in the format serviceNamespace/serviceAccountName (for example, "ai-dev/staffing-agent"). The platform uses it to authorize your org for the agent and to route requests. It must match the serviceAccountName of the target service. Set the field on the Default record for orgs with a single agent, or on a record named after an agent key to override it for that agent. Used as the fallback when the agent does not advertise its own identity. N/A
Note:

AI Connector picks the destination for each chat request by checking the AI Connector Named Credential field first. If that field is blank, AI Connector falls back to the AI Connector Service URL field. If both fields are blank, chat requests fail. For more information, see Configuring the AI Connector Named Credential.
