Creating the AI Connector Permission Set

Note:

This feature is part of the Certinia Early Adopter Program. This program is only available to a limited number of customers. For more information, contact your Certinia Account Team.

The AI Connector permission set controls access to the chat container. Without it, you cannot open the chat or interact with any agent. Access to individual agents is controlled separately by a custom permission for each agent, shipped by the agent's owning package. For more information, see Granting Access to an Agent.

This permission set also gives chat users the read access an agent needs to retrieve its flex instructions. Without Read on the Flex Instruction object and its fields, an agent cannot retrieve its instruction and the conversation fails. Authoring access to flex instructions is granted separately, through the AI Connector - Manage Flex Instructions permission set. For more information, see Creating the Flex Instructions Permission Set.
