To create or edit a pricing variable formula, a user must have read permission on every field the formula references. Users applying pricing methods using these formulas do not require permission to every field referenced in the formula.

Scale Services Estimator to Support Larger Project Estimates

[Optional] Select the Run Estimate Rollup Calculation Async custom setting field in the Services Estimator Settings to run the estimate rollup calculation asynchronously.	Services Estimator Settings
Use the Estimate Rollup Callable Batch Size field in the Services Estimator Settings to define the maximum number of role requests processed by a single callable job during estimate rollup batch processing. Use the Asynchronous Rollup Threshold field in the Services Estimator Settings to the maximum number of estimate role requests that can be processed simultaneously. If the total number of role requests exceeds this limit, the rollup process will run asynchronously, but only if the Run Estimate Rollup Calculation Async field is selected in the Services Estimator Settings custom setting.
If you have cloned the following permission sets or created your own permission sets for working with the Estimate Builder tab on the Estimate details page, you must update them to include access to the EstimateAsyncRollupController and pselib_AsyncJobRecordProgressController Apex classes. [Optional] Select the Add Products To Estimate Event custom setting field in the Services Estimator Process Settings. This publishes the Services Estimator Process Completion platform event whenever you add products to an estimate. If you have automation, like a Flow or an integration, that reacts when you add products, you can build it on this event with confidence. It only fires once the estimate's totals are fully recalculated, whether that happens right away or, with Run Estimate Rollup Calculation Async turned on, in the background.
