Viewing Resource Over-Allocation Using the Certinia Services Delivery Agent

Note:

This feature is part of the Certinia Early Adopter Program. This program is only available to a limited number of customers. For more information, contact your Certinia Account Team.

You can use the Certinia Services Delivery agent to find the resources that are over-allocated on a PSA project using natural language in an agent chat. Over-allocated resources are scheduled beyond their available capacity. The agent only reads your project data and does not change any records.

The agent analyzes one project at a time. If you ask about more than one project, the agent analyzes each project separately and returns a separate section for each one.

When you ask for a detailed report, the agent shows up to 10 project tasks and up to 5 resources per task. When there are more, the agent tells you how many it is showing out of the total.

You can also ask about a single project task. If more than one task on the project has that name, the agent lists the matching tasks for you to select from. If the task has no over-allocated resources, the agent tells you.

If the project has no over-allocated resources, the agent tells you.

To view resource over-allocation:

  1. Open an agent chat and select the Certinia Services Delivery agent.
  2. Ask about resource over-allocation on a project. For example, enter Which resources are over-allocated on Project Alpha?, or Give me a detailed over-allocation report for Project Alpha.

If your request matches more than one project, the agent presents a numbered list for you to select from. The agent then returns the resource over-allocation results in the chat.
