Creating CS Resource Skills

You can associate CS skills and CS skill sets with CS Cloud resources using:

  • The Add Skills button in the Resource Skills tab of the CS Cloud resource's record page
  • The New button in the CS Resource Skills related list of the CS Cloud resource's record page

A CS Resource Skill record can be viewed in the CS Resource Skills related list on the CS Cloud resource's record page.

You can associate CS skills and CS skill sets with CS Cloud resources in one of the following ways:

To associate CS skills and CS skill sets with CS Cloud resources from the Resource Skills tab of the resource's record page:

  1. On the CS Cloud Resources tab, click the resource that you want to associate the CS skill or CS skill set with. The resource's record page displays.
  2. On the resource's record page, click the Resource Skills tab.
  3. Click Add Skills.
  4. In the Add Skills window, select the CS Skill or CS Skill Set in the drop-down list.
  5. Search for and select the skills or skill sets you want to associate with the resource. You can view skills or skill sets related to the searched keyword, including their type and the role they are associated with. You can also select the resource's level of competence in the CS skill or CS skill set in the Minimum Rating field. Enter at least two characters in the Search field and click Show All Results for “ ” to open the Select CS Skill or Select CS Skill Set window. Then, select the skills or skill sets that you want from the grid and click Select to add them to the skills grid in the Add Skills window. For more information, see Using Advanced Lookup.
  6. Click Add. The added skills and skill sets are displayed in the Skills Management grid.
Note:

You cannot select the same skill more than once. If a skill is already selected as an individual skill, ensure it is deselected in the selected skill set.

To associate CS skills and CS skill sets with a CS Cloud resource from the CS Resource Skills related list of the CS Cloud resource's record page:

  1. On the CS Cloud Resources tab, click the resource that you want to associate the CS skill or CS skill set with. The resource's record page displays.
  2. On the resource's record page, click the Related tab.
  3. Click New in the header of the CS Resource Skills related list. The New CS Resource Skill window opens.
  4. [Optional] In the Minimum Rating field, select the resource's level of competence in the CS skill.
  5. Select the CS skill to associate with the resource.
  6. [Optional] Search for and select the CS skill set to associate with the playbook.
  7. Click Save to save your new CS resource skill record or Save & New to save your new record and create another CS resource skill record.
