Certinia Estimation Agent Overview

The Certinia Estimation agent is a conversational Veda Flex AI agent that helps you create, update, delete, search for, and filter records on an estimate using natural language. The agent lets you manage estimate records directly from a conversation, without opening individual record pages in Salesforce.

Core Capabilities

The Certinia Estimation agent helps you manage and query estimate records. You can create, update, delete, search, and filter the following records, individually or several at once:

• Estimated expenses
• Estimate vendor line items
• Services products
• Estimate risks (the agent calculates the severity score automatically from likelihood and impact)
• Estimate contingency records

You can also search and filter the following records by resource role, billing type, amounts, hours, and dates:

• Role requests
• Line sets
• Estimate tasks

Interacting with the Agent

You can describe what you want to do using natural language, and the agent asks for any additional information it needs before taking action.

To start a conversation, open an agent chat from the Veda global action in the Salesforce header. If you have access to more than one agent in your org, select your agent from the picker.
