Updating Estimate Risks Using the Certinia Estimation Agent

You can ask the Certinia Estimation agent in an agent chat to update estimate risks on a project estimate, individually or several at once. Enter your request in natural language and the agent completes the operation, respecting your Salesforce field-level security for estimate risk records.

Updating an Estimate Risk

To update an estimate risk:

1. Open an agent chat and select the Certinia Estimation agent.

2. Describe the change you want to make. For example:

   • To update the likelihood: Change the likelihood on the <risk name> risk to Medium
   • To update the impact: Set the impact on the <risk name> risk to Very High
   • To update the mitigation plan: Add a mitigation plan to the <risk name> risk: contact partner network for emergency backup
   • To select delivery risk: Mark the <risk name> risk as a delivery risk
3. The agent updates the estimate risk and confirms the outcome in the chat.

Notes:

• When you change the likelihood or impact, the agent recalculates and displays the updated severity score automatically. If you ask the agent to set the severity score directly, the agent declines and asks for the likelihood and impact values instead.
• The parent estimate, currency, and Estimate Product Instance cannot be edited after an estimate risk is created.

Updating Multiple Estimate Risks

To update several estimate risks at once:

1. Open an agent chat and select the Certinia Estimation agent.
2. Describe the change you want to make and the estimate risks to target. For example, enter Mark all risks with an impact of Very High on the <estimate name> estimate as delivery risks.
3. The agent identifies all matching records, displays them with their current values and the proposed change, and asks for confirmation.
4. Confirm to apply the update. The agent updates all matching records and confirms the outcome in the chat.
